Please be sure to read the following items carefully
1, Do not directly connect the Serial Port or USB cable to the DB9 port on the back of the equipment.(DB9 Port is going through the voltage for the signal output)
2, Do not open transmit, it would burn power amplifier tube. Please use the matching antenna when transmitting and receiving.
3. As usual, it is not recommended to reprogram the settings in the Projectmenuact. Each set of this equipment has been separately debugged well, please don’t reprogram it unless there is frequency offset happening. Please trim it according to the offset if necessary then.
4. Please pay attention to the different directions among the internal connectors, in order to avoid the short out caused by mismatching. Very important!

Keypad operations
The platinum version of X1M is operating by multifunctional buttons from F1 to F5. There are four groups of menu for the operations, and you can switch these groups of menu by the frequency knob. Please view the function instruction as followings.
The First Group Menu
TS+: This function will help the step frequency to move left one step.
MD: Choose the mode. You can choose LSB,USB or CW mode.
The Second Group Menu
V/M: You can choose the frequency mode you need and change frequency channel.
MC: Under the frequency channel mode, you can delete the channel’s all saving data.
V>M: If the channel you choose is vacant, you can save the frequency, mode that have been set into the channel.
The Third Group Menu
PRE: Preamplifier Switch. Open the switch, the in top left corner of the screen would display
ATT: Attenuator Switch. The platinum version of X1M doesn’t include this function.
SPL: Different Frequency Reception and Transmission Switch.
The Fourth Group Menu
LK/SYS: Short pressing this button, all keys and channel switch are locked. Long pressing LK/SYS button, you can enter into the Menu.
DECLEAR:
Attention: DO NOT CHANGE THE MENU SETTING AT WILL TO AVOID WORKING UNUSUAL.
Press the LK/SYS 2 seconds, you will enter into Program Menu.
In Program Menu, swirl the encoder knob and choose the function you need, and then press the encoder enter into setting status. F1/F5 can help you move the step. Swirl the Frequency Knob to change the number you choose.
01. IF OFST: Intermediate Frequency Setting.
02. LSB BFO: LSB mode BFO Frequency Setting
03. USB BFO: USB mode BFO Frequency Setting.
04. CW BFO: CW mode BFO Frequency Setting.
05. CW TONE: CW mode side-tone setting.
06. CW TDLY: CW mode transmission delay setting.
07. DDS CLK: DDS Clock Setting
08. DDS MLT: DDS Multiplying Power Setting
09. RST ALL: This set will lead all program menu parameters return to the default. Choose this function and change the 0 to 1, exit it and press LK/SKY button, swirl Frequency Knob to choose YES, and then press the Frequency Knob to exit the menu. The last step power off the radio and open it again, you will find the all data have returned to the default.
After setting, pressing the Frequency Knob can help you exit the function you choose, and then press the LK/SYS,
system will point out “YES” or ”NO” and you have to swirl Frequency Knob to choose one of them to affirm whether save the setting. The last, press the Frequency Knob again and exit the program menu.
